The X-Files: I Want to Believe 2008

Is the truth still out there? The Hound wants to believe it too. The first movie came out in 1998 and the series ended in 2002 so it'll be interesting to see if creator Carter can draw an audience beyond committed X-philes (unless that's enough to make the pic a boxoffice success). Mulder (Duchovny) and Scully (Anderson) return but that pesky alien mythology doesn't (it's a stand-alone story), although the trailer heavily features a lot of snow and Connolly (as a priest) leading a team searching for something odd. But Carter is keeping the plot as secret as possible. Not yet reviewed. ?m/C David Duchovny, Gillian Anderson, Billy Connolly, Xzibit, Amanda Peet, Callum Keith Rennie, Adam Godley, Mitch Pileggi; D: Chris Carter; W: Chris Carter, Frank Spotnitz; C: Bill Roe.
