Whispers in the Dark
Whispers in the Dark ★★ 1992 (R)
A psychiatrist counsels two odd patients—one is an ex-con turned painter with a violent streak, the other is a woman who reveals her kinky sexual experiences with a mystery man. Things get interesting when the doctor finds out her new lover is her patient's mystery man, and the patient turns up murdered. Confusing thriller seems forced but the experienced cast is worth watching. 103m/C VHS, DVD . Annabella Sciorra, Jamey Sheridan, Anthony LaPaglia, Jill Clayburgh, John Leguizamo, Deborah Kara Unger, Alan Alda, Anthony Heald; D: Christopher Crowe; W: Christopher Crowe; C: Michael Chapman; M: Thomas Newman.
