Career: Artist; free-lance writer and illustrator of children's books, 1987-. School of Visual Arts, teacher, 1994-. Worked in a ceramics antique gallery and in the ceramics department of the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, England, and as a potter in New York City prior to beginning career in children's books.
