Turistas ★ 2006 (R)
Young, sexy, and often-naked travelers are stuck in Brazil after a bus accident. That doesn't stop them from partying, however, until they wake up the next morning to the not-so-shocking realization that they've been drugged and robbed. The overly-friendly locals aren't what they seem, and soon a crazed surgeon straight out of the book of urban legends is blathering about economic inequality and carving out the visitors' vital organs. Dopey, dull, and not very scary (unless xenophobia counts). 89m/C DVD . US Josh Duhamel, Melissa George, Olivia Wilde, Desmond Askew, Beau Garrett, Max Brown, Agles Steib, Miguel Lunardi; D: John Stockwell; W: Michael Arlen Ross; C: Enrique Chediak; M: Paul Haslinger.
