The Super ★½ 1991 (R)
Pesci stars as a slumlord who faces a prison sentence thanks to his terminal neglect. The option given to him is to live in his own rat hole until he provides reasonable living conditions. This he does, and predictably learns a thing or two about his own greed and the people who suffer as a result of it. Pesci as always gives an animated performance but poor scripting laden with stereotypes and cliches successfully restricts effort. 86m/C VHS, DVD . Joe Pesci, Vincent Gardenia, Madolyn Smith, Ruben Blades, Stacey Travis; D: Rod Daniel; C: Bruce Surtees.
