The Sandy Bottom Orchestra
The Sandy Bottom Orchestra ★★½ 2000
Sandy Bottom, Wisconsin is a quaint small town that is resistant to change. Big city Ingrid (Headly), a former classical pianist, discovered this when she married local dairy farmer Norman (Irwin). Norman is also having problems—he wants to include a classical concert in the town's annual summer festival rather than the usual marching band and is meeting with opposition. Their daughter Rachel (Zima) also longs to fit in but her musical talent has outgrown the limited resources of the community and decisions must be made. 100m/C VHS, DVD . Glenne Headly, Tom Irwin, Madeline Zima, Jane Powell, Richard McMillan, Tamara Hope, Roger Dunn, Bradley Reid; D: Bradley Wigor; W: Joseph Maurer; C: Robert Primes; M: David Bell. CABLE
