The Rage ★★ 2007
Oldfashioned gorefest about a mad scientist and a deadly mutating virus. Russian scientist Viktor (Divoff) get the pharmaceutical shaft after discovering a cancer cure. To get even he develops the rage virus, which turns the infected into flesheating mutants. One of his test subjects escapes, dies in the woods, and becomes dinner for vultures. The infected birds then attack any unfortunates they find, some of whom eventually turn up at Viktor's cabin. There's lots of limbripping, bloodgushing, and fleshnoshing with some decent special effects. 99m/C DVD . Andrew Divoff, Misty Mundae, Reggie Bannister, Robert Kurtzman, Ryan Hooks; W: John Bisson; M: Edward Douglas. VIDEO
