Man in the Attic ★★½ 1953

Mild but creepy pathologist Slade (Palance) rents an attic room from Mrs. Harley and moons over her actress daughter Lily (Smith) in late 1880s London. Satisfying suspenser keeps the audience guessing thanks largely to Palance's ambiguous performance. 82m/B VHS, DVD .
