Two sisters, with opposite personalities, are department store sales clerks. Brent is the “good” girl and Brooks the “bad” flirt who, under the influence of Perkins, bets the store's welfare benefit money on the horses and loses it all. Brent manages to make things right, while keeping boyfriend Gray from her sister's clutches. Brooks' baby vamp (the actress was 19) stole the picture. Introduced the “Black Bottom” shimmy dance to the screen. Remade in 1929 as “The Saturday Night Kid” with Clara Bow and Jean Arthur. 70m/B VHS .
