Everything's Gone Green
Everything's Gone Green ★★½ 2006 (R)
Happy-go-lucky slacker Ryan (Costanzo) loses his job and girlfriend in one worst-day-of-his-life swoop. New employment at a lottery magazine draws him into a money laundering scheme that produces loot, ladies, and lots of opportunity for moral growth. Cleverly and hilariously weaves recurrent “green” references into each outlandish circumstance (dare you to tally them). Not a waste to watch but does lack that secret box-office hit ingredient. 95m/C DVD . CA Paulo Costanzo, Steph Song, J.R. Bourne, Aidan Devine, Susan Hogan, Tom Butler, Gordon Michael Woolvett, Katharine Isabelle; D: Paul Fox; W: Douglas Coupland; C: David Frazee.
