Echo of Murder
Echo of Murder ★★ Who Killed Atlanta's Children? 2000
Docudrama focuses on the 29 child murders in Atlanta, which took place in the late '70s and early '80s, from the point of view of investigative journalists Hines and Belushi. Their theory is that convicted killer Wayne Williams is the scapegoat for a police conspiracy and the killings were purpetrated by the Ku Klux Klan. But they seem to spend most of their time yelling at each other so the story's emotional impact is lost. 105m/C VHS, DVD . James Belushi, Gregory Hines; D: Charles Robert Carner; W: Charles Robert Carner; C: Michael Goi; M: James Verboort. CABLE
