Born Innocent ★½ 1974

As if “The Exorcist” weren't bad enough, Blair is back for more abuse-on-film, this time as a 14-year-old runaway from a dysfunctional family who lands in a reform school for girls. There, she must struggle to be as brutal as her peers in order to survive. Fairly tame by today's standards, but controversial at its made-for-TV premiere, chiefly due to a rape scene involving a broom handle. First trip up the river for Blair. 92m/C VHS, DVD . Linda Blair, Joanna Miles, Kim Hunter, Richard Jaeckel, Janit Baldwin, Mitch Vogel; D: Donald Wrye; M: Fred Karlin. TV
