BARNET, Miguel. Cuban, b. 1940. Genres: Poetry, Mythology/Folklore. Career: Ethnologist, poet, and novelist. Escuela de Instruciones de Arte, Havana, Cuba, professor of folklore, 1961-66. Also worked at Editorial Nacional, a Cuban publishing house, during the 1960s. Researcher at the Institute of Ethnology and Folklore of the Academy of Science.
