Air Raid Wardens
Air Raid Wardens ★★½ 1943
Laurel & Hardy play a couple of smalltown failures who become the local air raid wardens during WWII. They even manage to make a mess of this but redeem themselves when they overhear a spy plot and save the town's munitions factory from a German spy ring. A so-so effort from the comic duo. 67m/B VHS, DVD. Stan Laurel, Oliver Hardy, Edgar Kennedy, Jacqueline White, Stephen McNally, Russell Hicks, Howard Freeman, Donald Meek, Henry O'Neill; D: Edward Sedgwick.
