After Midnight 2004
After Midnight ★★ Dopo mezzanotte 2004
Quiet Martino lives a simple life as the night watchman for the National Museum of Cinema at the Mole Antonelliana in Turin, Italy, with the film aficionado spending his spare time dabbling on a pieced-together project of the city's history on film. But the entrance of eye-catching Amanda—on the lam from the police for scalding her boss with hot cooking fat—changes all that, especially once she's cleared of the charges and free to return to her car-thief boyfriend. The romantic triangle, in the end, doesn't offer much sizzle. In Italian, with English subtitles. 99m/C Giorgio Pasotti, Silvio Orlando, Francesca Inaudi, Fabio Troiano, Francesca Picozza; D: Davide Ferrario; W: Davide Ferrario; M: Banda Ionica, Daniele Sepe, Fabio Barovero.
