In 1976 in Montreal, Bärbel Wöckel-Eckert won Olympic gold medals in the 200 meters, with a time of 22.37, and in the 4×100 meters. She won two more gold medals in Moscow in 1980 in the same events; her time in the 200 meters was 22.03.
