Polish pianist. Born in 1924.
Regina Smendzianka studied with Zbigniew Drzewiecki (1890–1971) in Warsaw. Besides carrying on an important concert career, she has also done significant work as a teacher. Her notable recordings include a superb performance of the Sonata No. 2 by Polish composer Grazyna Bacewicz . She has also recorded Bacewicz's piano Etudes.
