Born in 1416 or 1417 in Wiener Neustadt; died on February 12, 1486, in Altenburg; daughter of Cimburca of Masovia (c. 1396–1429) and Ernest (d. 1424, son of Leopold III of Austria); married Frederick II the Gentle (1412–1464), duke and elector of Saxony; children: Anne of Saxony (1437–1512); Ernest of Saxony (b. 1441), elector of Saxony; Albert the Bold (b. 1443), duke of Saxony.
