Joan of Evreux (d. 1370)

Queen of France. Name variations: Jeanne d'Evreux; Jeanne of Evreux or Évreux. Born around 1305; died in 1370; daughter of Louis, count of Evreux (son of Philip III, king of France); sister of Philip III, king of Navarre (d. 1343); became third wife of Charles IV the Fair (1294–1328), king of France (r. 1322–1328), king of Navarre (r. 1322–1328), around 1324 or 1325; children: Blanche of France (1328–1392, who married Philip of Orleans, the brother of John II, king of France). Charles IV's other wives were Blanche of Burgundy (1296–1326) and Mary of Luxemburg (1305–1323).
