Queen of Mercia. Name variations: Eormengild of Kent. Died around 700; daughter of Earconbert also known as Ercombert, king of Kent, and Saint Sexburga (d. 699?); married Wulfhere, king of Mercia (r. 657–675); children: Saint Werburga (d. 700?, who was also abbess of Sheppey and Ely); Coenred, king of Mercia; Behrtwald.

After being widowed, Ermenilda served as abbess of Sheppey, then of Ely. Her feast day is February 13.
