Baroness Burghersh and countess of Warwick. Name variations: Isabel le Despencer; Isabel Beauchamp. Born on July 26, 1400, in Cardiff; died on December 27, 1439, at Friars Minoresses, London; interred on January 13, 1439, at Tewkesbury Abbey, Gloucester; daughter of Thomas Despenser, 1st earl of Gloucester, and Constance (c. 1374–1416, daughter of Edmund of Langley); married Richard Beauchamp, earl of Worcester (d. 1422); married Richard Beauchamp (1381–1439), 5th (or 13th) earl of Warwick, on November 26, 1423; children: (first marriage) Elizabeth Beauchamp , baroness Abergavenny; (second marriage) Henry Beauchamp (c. 1423–1445), 1st duke & 6th earl of Warwick; Anne Beauchamp (1426–1492).

Isabel Despenser married Richard Beau-champ, earl of Worcester; he died in 1422. The following year, she married his cousin Richard Beauchamp, earl of Warwick. Her husbands' identical names are frequently the source of some confusion.
