Wendl, Ingrid (1940–)

Austrian figure skater. Name variations: Ingrid Turkovic-Wendl. Born Ingrid Wendl, May 17, 1940, in Vienna, Austria; m. Milan Turkovic (musician).

Won a bronze medal at Cortina Olympics (1956); won European championship (1956, 1958); starred with the Vienna Ice Revue and Ice Capades for 12 years; became a spokesperson for ORF (1972) and a tv host, journalist, and sport commentator (1988).
