Szwajger, Adina Blady (1917–1993)

Polish-Jewish pediatrician and anti-Nazi activist. Born 1917 in Poland; died 1993 in Lodz, Poland.

Revealed in her memoirs that during WWII, confined to the Warsaw Ghetto, she tried to ease the plight of sick children destined for concentration camps by feeding them fatal doses of morphine.
