American ballet dancer. Born Jan 10, 1938, in Los Angeles, CA; m. Kent Stowell.
Performed throughout most of career with New York City Ballet where she was featured in Balanchine works, including Figure in the Carpet (1960); with husband Kent Stowell, was co-director of Frankfurt Opera Ballet in Germany (1975–77), where she staged numerous Balanchine revivals; became director at Pacific Northwest Ballet in Seattle, WA (1977); known especially for her staging of works by Balanchine.
