American singer. Name variations: Dawn Tshombe; Dawn Tshombe-Robinson; En Vogue; Vogue. Born Nov 28, 1968, in New London, CT; m. Andre Allen, May 2003.
Member of En Vogue, R&B girl group known for 4-part harmonies, which enjoyed great R&B and pop success with such hits as "Hold On" (1990), "My Lovin' (You're Never Gonna Get It)" (1992) and "Free Your Mind" (1992); left En Vogue and joined trio Lucy Pearl, releasing Lucy Pearl (2000); embarked on solo career. En Vogue albums include Born to Sing (1990) and Funky Divas (1992, multiplatinum).
