Queen of Thessaly. Flourished around 1310; daughter of Andronicus II (1259–1332), Byzantine emperor (r. 1282–1328) and possibly Irene of Montferrat (fl. 1300) or possibly illegitimate; married John II, king of Thessaly (r. 1303–1318). Thessaly was located in the north-easternmost division of ancient Greece.
