Irish politician. Born Dec 17, 1927, in Dublin, Ireland; m. Brigadier-General William Glenn.
Began career as a dress designer; was the 1st woman elected to the Fine Gael national executive; representing the conservative wing of Fine Gael, elected to the 22nd (1981–82) and 24th Dáil (1982–87) for Dublin Central; at odds with her party over her stance against abortion, divorce and contraception, resigned (Feb 16, 1987).
