Glenfruin, battle of, 1603. The clan Gregor in Scotland had long been lawless and troublesome. After their attack on the Colquhouns on 7 February 1603 at Glenfruin near Loch Lomond, they were subjected to draconian measures, designed to extirpate or subdue them.
