Davies, Lillian (1895–1932)

English actress and singer. Born Jan 18, 1895, Lynmouth, North Devon, England; died Mar 3, 1932; m. Stephen Wentworth Robinson.

Made London debut in the chorus of Shanghai (1918) and subsequently toured music halls with Nelson Keys; came to prominence as Polly Peachum in revival of Gay's The Beggar's Opera (1922).
