Born in 1293; died in 1328; daughter of Charles Martel of Hungary and Clementia of Habsburg (d. 1293); became second wife of Louis X (1289–1316), king of France (r. 1314–1316), in August 1315; children: John I the Posthumous (1316–1316), king of France (r. 1316).

Clemence of Hungary's son, John I the Posthumous, was king of France for six days: from the day of his birth on November 14, 1316, to the day of his death on November 19. Her husband Louis X had died the preceding May. Since Louis had left behind no other male heirs, his brother Philip of Valois declared himself Philip VI, king of France.
