Spanish poet. Born Nov 28, 1931, in Malaga, Spain; m. Rafael Leon; children: 4.

Studied music and painting but abandoned studies to pursue poetry writing; works include Tierra mojada (1953), Arte y parte (1961), Cañada de los ingleses (1961), Marta y Maria (1976), Los sueños (1976), Paulina. El libro de las aguas (1984), De la llama en que arde (1988), La señal (1990), El puente (1992), and A orillas del Ems (1997). Won Premio Andalucia de la Critica (1998) and Premio Nacional de la Critica (1998).
