Duboisia (corkwood; family Solanaceae) A genus of tall shrubs, up to 6m, which have obovate leaves and white, star-like flowers, and yield the alkaloid duboisine. D. myoparoides and D. hopwoodii were used by the aborigines as pituri, a chewed narcotic. There are 3 species in Australia and New Caledonia.
