LEVIN, POUL THEODOR
LEVIN, POUL THEODOR (1869–1925), Danish author, critic, and journalist. Born in Copenhagen, Levin wrote plays and literary studies, but was best known for his successful novels idealizing home life and the role of women. These include Familien i Danmark (1911), Lykkens Veje ("The Ways of Happiness," 1913), and Mariannes Mor (1921). Levin also contributed to Berlingske Tidende and from 1910 edited the periodical Tilskueren.
