Maladetta Mountains
Maladetta Mountains (mälädĕt´ä), Span. Montes Malditos [Span.,=cursed mountains], massif of the central Pyrenees, NE Spain, near the French border. Its highest point, Pico de Aneto (11,168 ft/3,404 m), is also the highest in the Pyrenees. The Garonne River rises in this group.
