SIAH (Israeli New Left; ha-Smol ha-Israeli he-Hadash in Hebrew)

Israeli political movement, created at the beginning of 1969, uniting young leftists from different backgrounds. The Siah declared it was part of "the world movement of the new left, fighting against the political establishment, whether of the Capitalist West, or the Socialist East." As of 2004, Siah has won no seats in the Knesset.
