SEABED ARMS CONTROL TREATY OF 1971
The Seabed Arms Control Treaty of 1971 was an agreement for the denuclearization of the seabed, the ocean floor, and the subsoil of the seabed. It may be regarded as a nuclear nonproliferation treaty since it limits or prevents the spread of nuclear devices to the seabed areas.
