Svadilfari
Svadilfari in Scandinavian mythology, the horse belonging to a giant who agreed to build a wall around Asgard for the gods; if he completed his work within the stated time, the goddess Freya, and the sun and moon, would be his reward. When it appeared he would succeed, Loki delayed the work by changing himself into a mare and decoying Svadilfari away. Odin's magic horse Sleipnir was born of their union.
