Sitwell, Sir Osbert

Sitwell, Sir Osbert (1892–1969) English writer, brother of Dame Edith Sitwell. He wrote the words for William Walton's oratorio Belshazzar's Feast (1931). He is chiefly remembered for his five volumes of family reminiscences, including Left Hand, Right Hand (1945) and Noble Essences (1950).
