Campbell, Sir Malcolm (1885–1948) British world speed record holder. In 1935, he became the first man to reach a land speed of 300mph (483km/h), accomplished in Bluebird at Utah's Bonneville Salt Flats, USA. He also set a water record of 227km/h (141mph).
