Duffy; born March 17, 1949, in Townsend, MT; son of Terence (a tavern owner) and Marie (a tavern owner) Duffy; married Carlyn Rosser (a ballet dancer), February 15, 1974; children: Padraic Terrence, Conor Frederick. Education: University of Washington, Seattle, theatre degree, c. 1971, studied at the school's Professional Actors Training Program. Religion: Buddhism. Avocational Interests: Collecting antique toys and children's books, playing piano, golf.

Career:

Actor, director, and producer. Host of Hot Summer Nights Month for The Nashville Network, 1999. Appeared in advertisements and infomercials. University of Washington, actor in residence, c. 1970-71; interpreter for arts companies in Washington state; teacher of mime and movement. Worked as a construction laborer, carpenter, flower delivery driver, and house painter. Also a certified scuba diver.
