Full name, Don Sinclair Davis; born August 4, 1942, in Aurora, MO; son of M. T. Davis (a lumberyard owner); married (divorced); married Ruby Fleming, July, 2003. Education: Southwest Missouri State College, B.S., theatre and art; Southern Illinois University, M.A., 1970, Ph.D., 1982. Avocational Interests: Painting, woodcarving, drawing, golfing.
