Description:

State-supported, university, coed. Part of University of Texas System. Awards bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees. Founded 1969. Setting: 600-acre suburban campus with easy access to San Antonio, Texas. Endowment: $30.3 million. Research spending 2003-04: $12.9 million. Educational spending 2003-04: $3801 per student.
