USAWOASF/Grantham University On-Line Scholarships (Graduate, Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To give financial awards to deserving candidates. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicant must be a member, or a spouse of a member of the association, or their dependents under 23 years of age (high school seniors and above); planning to attend full-time or continue education at an accredited American college or university or a vocational technical institution; and has a GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale. Criteria: Applicants will be selected based on the application materials.

Funds Avail.: No specific amount. To Apply: Application form is available at the website. Applicant must submit a complete application packet consisting of: the application form; an essay (800-100 words, include word count) on educational goals; circumstances which may effect the applicant's school attendance; list of extracurricular activities; recommendation letter (from instructor, faculty advisor, etc.); National Test Scores, SAT, ACT, etc.; transcript of grades; and a 4x6 photograph (view head and shoulders). Deadline: May 1.

USAWOASF Regular Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To give financial awards to deserving candidates. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicant must be a spouse or dependent of a USAWOA member, 23 years old and below; must be planning to attend full-time or continue education at an accredited American college or university, or a vocational technical institution; and has a GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale. Criteria: Selection committee's decision is based on the whole-person concept.

Applicant must submit a complete application packet consisting of: the application form (typewritten format); an essay (800-100 words, include word count) on educational goals; circumstances which may effect the applicant's school attendance; list of extracurricular activities; a recommendation letter (from instructor, faculty advisor, etc.); National Test Scores, SAT, ACT, etc.; and a 4x6 photograph (view head and shoulders). Deadline: May 1.
