Hazel Reed Baumeister Scholarship Program (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To support high school graduates of high academic achievement who would be unable to pursue higher education without financial assistance. Focus: General Studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be current graduating seniors or graduates of a public or private high school in San Mateo County or Santa Clara County; must be United States citizens; must have demonstrated financial hardship; must have earned a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.3. Criteria: Preference will be given to those students who meet the criteria.

Criteria: Selection will be based on their achievements and abilities as reflected in a brief application form, a resume and a 500-word essay on a subject relevant to the political or governmental role of women.
