SACHS Foundation Graduate Scholarships (Graduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide educational assistance to deserving Colorado Black students. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be students who are receiving an undergraduate degree. Criteria: Applicants are evaluated based on academic merit and financial need.

Funds Avail.: $5,000. To Apply: Applicants must submit Graduate Application form; SACHS FOUNDATION financial statement; copy of parents’ or (if over 21 and not a dependent) their own most current completed federal tax return including W-2(s) (IRS form 1040); certified copy of final undergraduate grade transcript. Deadline: March 1.

SACHS Foundation Undergraduate Scholarships for Colorado Black Students (High School/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide educational assistance to deserving Colorado black students. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be African-American students who are residents of Colorado for a minimum of 5 years; current high school seniors, or those who have graduated not more than 3 years prior to the application and did not or are not currently attending college. Criteria: Applicants are evaluated based on academic achievement.

Funds Avail.: $4,000. To Apply: Applicants must submit the completed application form; SACHS Foundation financial statement; copy of parents’ most recent completed federal tax return including W-2(s), (IRS Form 1040); certified copy of high school grade transcript; three current letters of recommendation from persons not related to them; recent small photograph; and the copy of Colorado enrollment form, which indicates racial category. Deadline: March 1.
