Description:

Independent, 4-year, coed. Awards bachelor's degrees. Founded 1931. Setting: 37-acre small town campus with easy access to Tampa-St. Petersburg. Endowment: $11.4 million. Educational spending 2003-04: $8841 per student. Total enrollment: 1,008. Student-undergrad faculty ratio is 12:1. 723 applied, 72% were admitted. Full-time: 980 students, 46% women, 54% men.
