PAMA Foundation Scholarship Program (Graduate, Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide educational assistance as a reward and recognition to qualified students pursuing careers in aviation maintenance. Focus: Aviation; Aeronautics. Qualif.: Applicants who are applying individually must be enrolled in a FAR Part 147 certificated educational institution in pursuit of an Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license or a degree in aerospace maintenance and management; must have completed 25 percent of the required curriculum; must have a B average or equivalent; and must have a need for financial assistance. Applicants pursuing a Chapter application must be active; and not a relative of any PAMA board member. The chapter must also be recognized by PAMA. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on educational performance, work experience, participation in school and community activities, career commitment and future potential, financial need, and recommendation by a counselor, advisor, aviation maintenance instructor, or current employer.

Funds Avail.: $1,000. To Apply: Individual applicants must submit a certificate of current enrollment or avionics certification; completed Form SS-APP-880(typewritten and signed) and letter(s) of reference(s); Chapter applicants must submit completed Form CH-APP-880 (typewritten and signed) and are encouraged to present CH-APP-880 Forms of students awarded the previous year (if applicable). All requirements must be forwarded to PAMA Foundation Scholarships, 400 Commonwealth Dr. Warrendale, PA 15096. Deadline: October 31.
