Paul Arnold Memorial Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide scholarship to the students who have been stigmatized, isolated or closeted because of sexual identity issues. Focus: Interior design; Fashion design; Graphic art and design. Qualif.: Applicants must be young men and women studying interior, fashion, graphic design. Criteria: Selection will be based on the committee's criteria.

Qualif.: Applicants must be Asian/Pacific Islander lesbians, bisexual females, or transgender (both MTF and FTM spectrum). Criteria: Selection will be based on the committee's criteria.

Purpose: To provide scholarship to the students who have been stigmatized, isolated or closeted because of sexual identity issues. Focus: Psychology; Psychiatry; Social work; Nursing, Psychiatric. Qualif.: Applicants must be LGBT students pursuing graduate education in psychology, psychiatry, social work, or psychiatric nursing. Preference given to individuals with demonstrated financial needs and to those entering or already enrolled in an accredited graduate program. Criteria: Selection will be based on the committee's criteria.

Qualif.: Applicant must be a student committed to offering compassionate support services to those dealing with illness, death, grief or trauma, especially where violent acts such as suicide must be addressed. Qualif.: Applicant must be a resident of areas outside of King County where Pride Foundation is working to enhance the leadership of the LGBT and straight-ally community: Whatcom/Skagit, Kitsap County, Pierce County, Clark County, Black Hills, Inland Northwest, Southern Idaho and Columbia Basin. Qualif.: Applicant must be a graduating high school senior entering a bachelor's degree program who has demonstrated leadership skills and have a passion for making positive social change. Focus: Business administration; Computer and information sciences; Political science. Qualif.: Applicant must be a student studying business administration, computer science, or political science. Criteria: Selection will be based on the committee's criteria.
