Paul Arnold Memorial Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide scholarship to the students who have been stigmatized, isolated or closeted because of sexual identity issues. Focus: Interior design; Fashion design; Graphic art and design. Qualif.: Applicants must be young men and women studying interior, fashion, graphic design. Criteria: Selection will be based on the committee's criteria.

Funds Avail.: No specific amount. To Apply: Qualified students are asked to submit an application to determine eligibility for scholarships. Applicants may download an application form from the Foundation's website. Contact: Pride Foundation at the above address (see entry 5749).

Asian and Pacific Islander Queers Sisters Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide scholarship to students who have been stigmatized, isolated or closeted because of sexual identity issues. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be Asian/Pacific Islander lesbians, bisexual females, or transgender (both MTF and FTM spectrum). Criteria: Selection will be based on the committee's criteria.

Associates in Behavioral Health Scholarships (Graduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide scholarship to the students who have been stigmatized, isolated or closeted because of sexual identity issues. Focus: Psychology; Psychiatry; Social work; Nursing, Psychiatric. Qualif.: Applicants must be LGBT students pursuing graduate education in psychology, psychiatry, social work, or psychiatric nursing. Preference given to individuals with demonstrated financial needs and to those entering or already enrolled in an accredited graduate program. Criteria: Selection will be based on the committee's criteria.

Athletic Excellence Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide scholarship to the students who have been stigmatized, isolated or closeted because of sexual identity issues. Focus: Sports studies. Qualif.: Applicant must be an LGBT individual who plans to pursue or study athletics through college, or for athletes pursuing national/international excellence in sports through an accredited institution or program. Criteria: Selection will be based on the committee's criteria.

Barbara Bailey Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Charly Baker and Heath Merriwether Memorial Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide scholarship to the students who have been stigmatized, isolated or closeted because of sexual identity issues. Focus: Theater arts. Qualif.: Applicant must be a student under the age of 25 who graduated from any West Seattle high school or are studying theater art. Criteria: Selection will be based on the committee's criteria.

Bellevue PFLAG Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide scholarship to the students who have been stigmatized, isolated or closeted because of sexual identity issues. Focus: General Studies. Qualif.: Applicant must be a graduating high school seniors currently attending a greater East King County high school. Criteria: Selection will be based on the committee's criteria.

Bill Bendiner and Doug Morgenson Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide scholarship to the students who have been stigmatized, isolated or closeted because of sexual identity issues. Focus: Human relations; Health sciences; Visual arts. Qualif.: Applicant must be pursing a career in human services, health sciences or visual arts. Criteria: Selection will be based on the committee's criteria.

Robert Browning Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide scholarship to the students who have been stigmatized, isolated or closeted because of sexual identity issues. Focus: Health sciences. Qualif.: Applicant must be majoring in health sciences program. Criteria: Selection will be based on the committee's criteria.

Deloris Carter Hampton Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide scholarship to the students who have been stigmatized, isolated or closeted because of sexual identity issues. Focus: Education; Dance. Qualif.: Applicants must be women of color who have a demonstrated history of activism and/or leadership in the LGBT community and are pursuing a degree in education, women's health, or dance. Criteria: Selection will be based on the committee's criteria.

Donald O. Coffman Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide scholarship to the students who have been stigmatized, isolated or closeted because of sexual identity issues. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicant must be a current and future LGBT and straight-ally leaders and role models. Criteria: Selection will be based on the committee's criteria.

Cole Family Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide scholarship to the students who have been stigmatized, isolated or closeted because of sexual identity issues. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicant must be a Washington resident under the age of 25 and raised by one or more lesbian or gay parent. Criteria: Selection will be based on the committee's criteria.

Dennis Coleman Choral Conducting Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide scholarship to the students who have been stigmatized, isolated or closeted because of sexual identity issues. Focus: Music. Qualif.: Applicant must be a LGBT student studying choral conducting or music with preference given to those committed to creating social change through music. Criteria: Selection will be based on the committee's criteria.

Compassionate Care Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide scholarship to students who have been stigmatized, isolated or closeted because of sexual identity issues. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicant must be a student committed to offering compassionate support services to those dealing with illness, death, grief or trauma, especially where violent acts such as suicide must be addressed. Criteria: Selection will be based on the committee's criteria.

Brian M. Day Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide scholarship to the students who have been stigmatized, isolated or closeted because of sexual identity issues. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be Puget Sound area gay men of color who have significant financial need and demonstrate activism in the gay/lesbian community and their communities of color. Criteria: Selection will be based on the committee's criteria.

Derivative Duo Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide scholarship to the students who have been stigmatized, isolated or closeted because of sexual identity issues. Focus: Mental health; Human relations. Qualif.: Applicant must be a resident of Washington studying mental health or human services. Criteria: Selection will be based on the committee's criteria.

Imperial Sovereign Court of Tacoma Scholarships (Professional Development/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide scholarship to the students who have been stigmatized, isolated or closeted because of sexual identity issues. Focus: General Studies. Qualif.: Applicant must be a resident of Pierce County working to enhance the leadership of the LGBT and straight-ally community. Criteria: Selection will be based on the committee's criteria.

Inland Northwest Business Alliance (INBA) Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide scholarship to the students who have been stigmatized, isolated or closeted because of sexual identity issues. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicant must be an undergraduate student who is also a resident of Eastern Washington, Idaho, or Montana. Criteria: Selection will be based on the committee's criteria.

Patricia Van Kirk Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide scholarship to the students who have been stigmatized, isolated or closeted because of sexual identity issues. Focus: Theater arts; Visual arts. Qualif.: Applicant must be a lesbian studying theater or visual arts. Preference is given to students who are self-identified lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender (LGBT). Criteria: Selection will be based on the committee's criteria.

McFarffels Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide scholarship to the students who have been stigmatized, isolated or closeted because of sexual identity issues. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicant must be a lesbian with financial need entering a field that promotes social change and/or social justice. Preference is given to students who are self-identified lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender (LGBT). Criteria: Selection will be based on the committee's criteria.

Jacinta McKoy Memorial Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide scholarship to the students who have been stigmatized, isolated or closeted because of sexual identity issues. Focus: Education. Qualif.: Applicant must be a student from the Black Hills community pursuing education in the healing arts. Preference is given to students who are self-identified lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender (LGBT). Criteria: Selection will be based on the committee's criteria.

Jack D. Motteler Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide scholarship to the students who have been stigmatized, isolated or closeted because of sexual identity issues. Focus: Visual arts. Qualif.: Applicant must be an undergraduate student in the visual arts. Criteria: Selection will be based on the committee's criteria.

Obrzut Ling Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide scholarship to the students who have been stigmatized, isolated or closeted because of sexual identity issues. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicant must be a student enrolled or entering a vocational or technical program at an accredited learning institution. Preference is given to students who are self-identified lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender (LGBT). Criteria: Selection will be based on the committee's criteria.

Political Leadership Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide scholarship to the students who have been stigmatized, isolated or closeted because of sexual identity issues. Focus: Law; Political science; Public Administration. Qualif.: Applicant must be studying law, political science, public policy or public administration with the goal of improving rights for LGBT people. Preference is given to students who are self-identified lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender (LGBT). Criteria: Selection will be based on the committee's criteria.

Pride Foundation Regional Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide scholarship to the students who have been stigmatized, isolated or closeted because of sexual identity issues. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicant must be a resident of areas outside of King County where Pride Foundation is working to enhance the leadership of the LGBT and straight-ally community: Whatcom/Skagit, Kitsap County, Pierce County, Clark County, Black Hills, Inland Northwest, Southern Idaho and Columbia Basin. Criteria: Selection will be based on the committee's criteria.

Don Renschler Scholarships (Graduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide scholarship to the students who have been stigmatized, isolated or closeted because of sexual identity issues. Focus: Mental Health. Qualif.: Applicant must be a resident of Washington who is a graduate student in the study of mental health. Criteria: Selection will be based on the committee's criteria.

Richard C. Rolfs Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide scholarship to the students who have been stigmatized, isolated or closeted because of sexual identity issues. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be Eastern Washington residents, or undergraduate students attending college in Eastern Washington. Criteria: Selection will be based on the committee's criteria.

Rosenberg-Ibarra Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide scholarship to the students who have been stigmatized, isolated or closeted because of sexual identity issues. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicant must be a LGBT student who either graduated from a high school in Idaho or will be attending a college or university within the state of Idaho. Criteria: Selection will be based on the committee's criteria.

Social Work Scholarships (Graduate, Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide scholarship to the students who have been stigmatized, isolated or closeted because of sexual identity issues. Focus: Social work. Qualif.: Applicants must be gay, lesbian or transgender students enrolled or admitted to a C.S.W.E. accredited bachelors or masters social work degree program or to a doctoral program in social work. Preference given to students of color. Criteria: Selection will be based on the committee's criteria.

Kathy Spadoni Memorial Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide scholarship to the students who have been stigmatized, isolated or closeted because of sexual identity issues. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicant must be a graduating high school senior entering a bachelor's degree program who has demonstrated leadership skills and have a passion for making positive social change. Preference is given to students who are self-identified lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender (LGBT). Criteria: Selection will be based on the committee's criteria.

Phil Sullivan Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide scholarship to the students who have been stigmatized, isolated or closeted because of sexual identity issues. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicant must be a student under the age of 21 who demonstrates significant financial need, with preference to those that have been homeless. Criteria: Selection will be based on the committee's criteria.

True North Land Surveying Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide scholarship to the students who have been stigmatized, isolated or closeted because of sexual identity issues. Focus: Mathematics and mathematical sciences. Qualif.: Applicant must be a student pursuing a career in Land Surveying (Geomatics) or majoring in mathematics. Criteria: Selection will be based on the committee's criteria.

Ric Ulrich and Chuck Pischke Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide scholarship to the students who have been stigmatized, isolated or closeted because of sexual identity issues. Focus: Visual arts. Qualif.: Candidate must intend to study in visual arts and design. Preference is given to students who are self-identified lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender (LGBT). Criteria: Selection will be based on the committee's criteria.

Wells Fargo Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide scholarship to the students who have been stigmatized, isolated or closeted because of sexual identity issues. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicant must be a current or future LGBT and straight-ally leaders and role models. Criteria: Selection will be based on the committee's criteria.

Whidbey Island Giving Circle Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide scholarship to the students who have been stigmatized, isolated or closeted because of sexual identity issues. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicant must be a current and future LGBT and straight-ally leaders and role models, with preference given to residents of Whidbey Island. James and Colin Lee Wozumi Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide scholarship to the students who have been stigmatized, isolated or closeted because of sexual identity issues. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicant must be an undergraduate student who is goal-oriented, HIV positive, and/or focusing on the treatment and/or eradication of HIV. Preference is given to students who are self-identified lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender (LGBT). Criteria: Selection will be based on the committee's criteria.

You Go Girl! Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide scholarship to the students who have been stigmatized, isolated or closeted because of sexual identity issues. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be lesbians who have completed their sophomore year of college. Criteria: Selection will be based on the committee's criteria.

Urashi Zen Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide scholarship to the students who have been stigmatized, isolated or closeted because of sexual identity issues. Focus: Business administration; Computer and information sciences; Political science. Qualif.: Applicant must be a student studying business administration, computer science, or political science.
