Kerr Foundation Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide financial assistance for qualified law students intending to pursue their studies. Focus: Law. Qualif.: Applicants must be upper class students who have high GPA (generally 3.5 or above) and high LSAT (generally at the 80th percentile or above). Criteria: Selection of applicants is based on academic performance, service to the school, financial need and character.

Funds Avail.: No specific amount. Number Awarded: 20. To Apply: Applicants must complete the application form available online and submit along with their undergraduate transcript and letters of recommendation.

Oklahoma City University Merit Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide financial assistance for qualified law students intending to pursue their studies. Focus: Law. Qualif.: Applicants must have a high GPA (generally 3.5 or above) and high LSAT (generally at the 80th percentile or above). Criteria: Selection is based on LSAT and GPA average.

Funds Avail.: Covers 2/3 of tuition. To Apply: Applicants must complete the application form available online and must also submit the undergraduate transcript and letters of recommendation. Deadline: April 1.

Hatton W. Sumners Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide financial assistance for qualified law students intending to pursue their studies. Focus: Law. Qualif.: Applicants must be U.S. citizens; must rank in the top quarter of their class; and must be residents of or students/graduates of colleges or universities in Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Texas, Louisiana, Nebraska, or New Mexico. Criteria: Selection is based on academic proficiency, extra-curricular achievement and demonstrated capacity for public service.

Funds Avail.: Covers all tuition and other fees, $400 book allowance and $2,500 living stipend. To Apply: Applicants must complete the application form available online must also submit their undergraduate transcript and letters of recommendation. Deadline: February 15.
