Employee Education Scholarships (Other/Scholarship)

Purpose: To support continuing and higher education through the NIBA Education Fund. Focus: Education. Qualif.: Applicant must be a current employee of a NIBA Distributor/Fabricator member company; must have business or industry related courses that the employer views as an asset to the industry or the company or those courses required for a degree. Applicant must not be a NIBA director, officer or NIBA committee chairperson or a member company’s owner with five percent or greater holdings. Criteria: Applications will be entered into a drawing to be held at the NIBA Annual Convention.

Funds Avail.: $1,000. Number Awarded: 3. To Apply: Applicant must submit completed application form listing the name, address, employer, length of employment, duties, work experience, education background, community activities, and documentation of course(s) including cost.

Ray Snow Memorial Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide financial assistance to an individual pursuing a minimum 2-year course at an accredited college, university or technical school. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be children of NIBA Distributor/Fabricator Member Company employees and must attend a two-year or more accredited college, university or technical school. Criteria: Candidates will be evaluated based on academic achievement, community service/activities, demonstration of leadership, and written thesis.

Funds Avail.: $4,000. Number Awarded: 2. Deadline: May 1.
